   The only good thing I can say about Thomas Cook Airlines is that they're cheap. Flew Toronto to Gatwick and it was seriously the worst transatlantic flight I've experienced. Seats the narrowest I've seen on any flight, transatlantic or domestic, with very little legroom in addition. I was in an aisle seat, next to a normal-sized man (ie not overweight), and his shoulders spilled over so much into my seating area that I had to have my right shoulder and a chunk of my back out in the aisle. Which, of course, meant that I got slammed every time someone went past. Worst of all in that respect were the cabin crew. Food was disgusting and barely edible, and the portion sizes were tiny anyway. And the cabin crew wore scent, which in this day and age is appalling. I have to fly back on the same route, but will definitely think again before flying TCA in future, even though I saved over other airlines.

   Our flight was a great experience. I had read negative reports before we left and was a little apprehensive. The flights were on time, quite comfortable and the service was excellent. We have travelled a lot and the staff on Thomas Cook reminded us of years ago when Wardair was in business. Everything done with class!
